
First I have some news that doesn't need to be linked out. We've got word that Fandango will exclusively be selling tickets on Monday for a special "Twilight"-related event at San Diego Comic-Con. Here are the pertinent details, straight from the announcement:
On Monday, July 20 between 9:00-9:30 a.m. PST, tickets will go on sale exclusively at www.fandango.com for a special San Diego-only event on Thursday, July 23 during the week of Comic-Con. “The TWILIGHT Experience”, a one-night-only special theatrical re-release of global sensation TWILIGHT, featuring an introduction by cast members. -- "The Hangover" star Ed Helms is signed on for his next project, described as a road trip comedy. The movie, "Cedar Rapids," will be directed by Michael Arteta. Arteta also directed the upcoming "Youth in Revolt," starring Zach Galifianakis and Michael Cera. (The Hollywood Reporter)
-- The Todd Phillips-produced comedy "Staycation" has landed a pair of writers: Matt Manfredi and Phil Hay. The duo previously wrote "Crazy/Beautiful," "Aeon Flux" and the upcoming "Clash of the Titans" remake. (Variety)
-- Fans of "Battlestar Galactica" who have been pining for more since the series ended a few months ago can now take heart in the knowledge that the feature-length side story "Battlestar Galactica: The Plan" will hit DVD and Blu-ray on October 27. (Sci Fi Wire)
