Info : 'Twilight' Experience News And Ed Helms' Post-'Hangover' In Today's Dailies

First I have some news that doesn't need to be linked out. We've got word that Fandango will exclusively be selling tickets on Monday for a special "Twilight"-related event at San Diego Comic-Con. Here are the pertinent details, straight from the announcement:

On Monday, July 20 between 9:00-9:30 a.m. PST, tickets will go on sale exclusively at www.fandango.com for a special San Diego-only event on Thursday, July 23 during the week of Comic-Con. “The TWILIGHT Experience”, a one-night-only special theatrical re-release of global sensation TWILIGHT, featuring an introduction by cast members. Tickets are $10.00 each, with a two tickets-per-person limit. On Monday, tickets may be purchased at the following link: http://www.fandango.com/gaslampstadium_aaeet/theaterpage?date=7/23/2009

So there's that. For now, on to today's Dailies.

-- Russell Crowe is considering signing on with a new "Master & Commander" flick. (The Associated Press)

-- Due to dramatically reduced budgets, the return of Matt Groening's "Futurama" TV series may be saddled with an all-new cast of voice actors. Fox has put out a casting call to replace main standbys Billy West, John DiMaggio, Katey Sagal and Maurice LaMarche. (Variety)

-- "The Hangover" star Ed Helms is signed on for his next project, described as a road trip comedy. The movie, "Cedar Rapids," will be directed by Michael Arteta. Arteta also directed the upcoming "Youth in Revolt," starring Zach Galifianakis and Michael Cera. (The Hollywood Reporter)

-- The Todd Phillips-produced comedy "Staycation" has landed a pair of writers: Matt Manfredi and Phil Hay. The duo previously wrote "Crazy/Beautiful," "Aeon Flux" and the upcoming "Clash of the Titans" remake. (Variety)

-- Fans of "Battlestar Galactica" who have been pining for more since the series ended a few months ago can now take heart in the knowledge that the feature-length side story "Battlestar Galactica: The Plan" will hit DVD and Blu-ray on October 27. (Sci Fi Wire)

-- This might be better for Around the Blogosphere, but who out there is going to stop me. Nikki Finke (Deadline Hollywood Daily) and Anne Thompson (Variety) are both moving on to bigger and potentially better things. MTV contributor Christopher Campbell offers up some opinions on the moves at SpoutBlog. (SpoutBlog)
