THE HURT LOCKER Movie

J.T. Sanborn (Anthony Mackie) and Owen Eldridge (Brian Geraghty) is a two-person unit from the army bomb team tamer who served in Iraq in 2004. They both served comb the area to be passed to search for American soldiers mines planted by the possibility of Iraq.

The duty of this team is not an easy duty. Sanborn Eldrige and should not make any small mistake or lives of others who will be victims. It was evident, when their leaders fall victim in one of the missions they perform. However, awareness of the importance of accuracy that quickly became something that no longer needed when the team gets a new leader.

Not like the previous leader, sergeant William James (Jeremy Renner) is one of the 'peculiar'. James is always an action that, according to the standard rule that military action is careless and not responsible. James did not like to use robots to disable mine and prefer to go directly medan mines and crippling with empty hands. As a subordinate, Sanborn and Eldridge can not do anything other than follow the mandate.

Together with Mark Boal that the script writers had time to become film IN THE VALLEY OF ELAH Kathryn Bigelow, the director, tried to reveal the other side of the war with the film entitled THE HURT LOCKER this. They both try to see war as something that addict and can make people addicted. On the other hand, Bigelow also show that in conditions of war, sometimes the motivation to leave early during a battle field is no longer a problem. There is only one thing only: to survive.

Structure of the story this film requires a high concentration of an inch because there is no clear plot. In fact, this film can be spelled out is a set of scenes that highlight the central figure in this film. There is no way the story is clear. There is only a message that is inserted between each of these scenes that the film be shown by this 130 minutes.

Bigelow also trying to not stand in one of the citadel of the battle. He seeks only describe the condition of the central figure in this film without having to make this a psychological analysis. He only describes the circumstances experienced by the characters at that time without having to rewind back to the past and each character.

Basically, the Hurt Locker is not an entertainment lounge. Action fight and fight only because it should have and not a major scene. To call this an entertainment was probably less precise. So if you do not really want to see more closely what is experienced by the soldiers while in the battlefield, could be another film will be more interesting to watch.
